Adele will perform in an open-air setting on the grounds of Messe München, which has been created exclusively for these special concerts. The unique arena offers a combination of seated stands, seating and standing room with a capacity for around 80,000 fans per evening.

In the early 1930s, Sergei Rachmaninoff found a new home near Lucerne. Riccardo Chailly and the Lucerne Festival Orchestra continue the Rachmaninoff cycle that began in 2019. On the schedule this summer is the 2nd Symphony and the 2nd Piano Concerto. At the piano the young Japanese Mao Fujita.

The founding concert live from Warsaw

The Metropolitan Opera New York and the Polish National Opera in Warsaw have founded the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra as a gesture of solidarity with the victims of the war in Ukraine. The exile orchestra is touring Europe and the U.S. this summer, and ARTE will be at the opening concert in Warsaw on July 28 at Teatr Wielki.

Andreas Gabalier was the first Austrian to stand on the MTV Unplugged stage at the Odeon Theater in Vienna to perform his hits in an acoustic garb. Framed by arches and columns, the VolksRock’n’Roller was celebrated by 300 fans and guests. As befits a decent MTV Unplugged, Andreas Gabalier also got support. Xavier Naidoo, Gregor Meyle, Max Giesinger and the 257ers were allowed to show as features what they can do without electric guitars.

Rammstein is producing its own video signal for the festival screens and later broadcasts during the European Festival Tour. During this tour, which lasts several months, I deliver live pictures with the hand camera directly from the „Feuergraben“ in front of the stage.

UDR Records decided to record the shows on November 20th and 21st 2015 at the Zenith in Munich and Motörhead played two truly brilliant concerts. They were thunderous rock ‘n’ roll shows that easily matched the almost breakneck speed that had once made them famous. Phil Campbell played better with each concert and Mikkey Dee raised the art of drumming to the very highest level, proving once again why he enjoys a reputation as one of the most sought-after fur tanners.

Turn all knobs to maximum, because – as Lemmy himself said – the only way to listen to music is: When it’s loud … and think of Motörhead and Lemmy and his last words at the end of every concert: Don’t forget us – we are Motörhead and we play Rock ’n’ Roll!

More than half a million people saw the 28 concerts of the Dauernd Jetzt-Tour in May and June 2015, in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, celebrating the singer, the band, the new and old songs in sold-out arenas. The Süddeutsche Zeitung saw an emotional full-throttle event, a mad show the Freie Presse, the Hamburger Morgenpost wrote about the concert highlight of the year. In about two hours, 25 songs can be heard, from current hits like Wunderbare Leere and Fang mich an to classics à la Bochum and Mensch to real rarities: Ich hab dich lieb, the wonderfully bitter ballad from 1980, Herbert Grönemeyer plays according to old tradition only at performances in Austria. Even some pieces that you think you know very well can be experienced in a completely new way in Dauernd Jetzt (Live).
