They have been on stage for over 30 years. During this time they have developed their own style of the hits associated with their homeland. Now the Schürzenjäger say goodbye with a double CD and a tour.

The farewell album contains four new titles and of course the greatest hits of the successful formation, including Sierra Madre and Schürzenjägerzeit, but also medleys of the best songs. And of course, the Schürzenjäger have always been musically committed to their Austrian roots, but have always remained open to currents such as rock, pop, country and Schlager. This openness helped the band to their great success, and it makes it so difficult to pigeonhole them. The titles on the farewell album correspond exactly to the live programme with which the five musicians around band leader Peter Steinlechner are currently touring Germany. It can therefore be considered their musical legacy. Finally, the last concert will take place on July 21 in Finkenberg in the Zillertal Alps, Austria. Since 1996, the venue of the Schürzenjäger Open Airs, which attracts thousands of fans to the impressive mountain world every year.
